Paula is a native of Victoria who has worked in the South Vancouver Island area all her life. She attended the University of Victoria in the Faculty of Education, has been a licensed Realtor since 1991 and prior to that time was a legal researcher for 14 years at the British Columbia Courthouse Library. Her education and employment have given her an excellent understanding of the area and its history of real estate development.
The British Columbia Real Estate Act requires all licensed Real Estate offices have a Managing Broker in attendance during normal business hours. In compliance with these requirements, Mrs. Brown is the licensed Managing Broker for ROYAL LEPAGE By the Sea. Paula is in charge of all real estate administration for our office. Licensing duties include regular client trust account bank reconciliations, approving/signing of all listings/sales agreements/contracts prior to registration with the Victoria Real Estate Board and property title conveyancing on closing transactions.
Technology offers a great opportunity and a vast array of new tools to those that meet the challenge. Paula embraces all facets of this new age of gadgets and computers.

Kathryn Iannarelli began her career in Real Estate in 1983. Separate from her extensive experience as both Realtor and Agent/Broker of her own Kitimat firm, Kathryn has a strong office and legal background in the public and private sectors.
Born and raised in Victoria, and after living in the northern community of Kitimat for many years, Kathryn has chosen to return home and join our team of professionals.

Kimberly is a second generation REALTOR®, born and raised in beautiful BC. She attended McMaster University in Ontario, where she lived and worked prior to returning to BC and settling back on the island.
She has worked with clients from around the globe. Kimberly provided business management services to a variety of commercial and charitable development projects including construction of the Bronte Outer Harbour Marina in Oakville, heritage site restoration in the Hamilton Region Conservation Authority and development of the world-renowned Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Mount Hope. Her experience and enthusiasm in marketing and development for both the private and public sectors is extensive.
Kimberly joined Royal LePage in 2006 and was recruited to our Royal LePage By the Sea team in July of 2007. She believes in the power of a concentrated team of proven performers.

Ed Dunn keeps our team of professional Realtors on the leading
edge of advanced marketing and management systems. Ed believes
in the successful blending of professional marketing and business,
with no exception to the principle that a real estate company
is only as good as the service it provides through a well-informed,
professional sales team. Ed’s goal is to continually

ROYAL LEPAGE - By the Sea
Ed & Jean Dunn (nee Hembling), natives of British Columbia,
both of British Columbia born parents, are the owners of ROYAL LEPAGE By the Sea. Ed was born and educated in Vancouver and
Jean in Vernon.
Ed soloed from the Vancouver Airport, at the age of sixteen
and started his professional aviation career at eighteen.
Jean, an advanced student, graduated with honours from the
Vernon High School at age seventeen and then entered the St.
Paul’s School of Nursing in Vancouver.
After meeting on a blind date!!, Ed and Jean married a year
later at the Chalmers United Church, Vancouver. The Dunns
have two children, Darlene and Kyle, and two grandchildren,
Brian and Linda Rainbow.
In the early 1960’s the Dunns moved from Richmond,
lived in Terrace and Smithers, British Columbia, moving back
to Richmond in 1965, Ladner in 1967 and to Lands End Road,
North Saanich, Vancouver Island in 1986.
Upon electing to take early retirement from the aviation
industry, the Dunns pleasure boated extensively along the
British Columbia coast accumulating over 3,000 hours on a
diesel pleasure boat the “Dunnrowin”. Jean was
always the best at fishing and also trapped so many rock crabs
she became known along the ports of call as the Crab Lady!
